| Manly, yes, but I like it,too! |
My friend of many, many years, Dennis, bikes in Seattle and sent me this image of his beloved Sally Cinnamon, a rebuild from a late 70's Motobecan frame. Sweet, isn't it? And she totally suits the rider. Handsome, minimalist and efficient. As you can see, Dennis took his bike to the nursery in anticipation of gardening pleasure. The only thing better than a visit to the nursery is bringing home your bounty in your bike basket.

| Sometimes it all begins with a bike from Target. |
I met this gentleman on Wednesday coming out of Target. As I was unlocking my Dahon, he was pulling off the tags from his new classic Schwinn commuter. He just couldn't wait! It's pretty sharp looking, I think. Yep, he's a new cyclist motivated by Bike to Work Week to get back in shape. I don't think he has too far to go in that area, and I wish him many happy hours on his new bike. Who knows, before you know it, he could be visiting one of the local bike shops for some aluminum fenders and a rack. If he doesn't watch out, bike-love could overwhelm him and he'll become Flagstaff's newest bike blogger. I hear there's an opening.
