Product Review: The BackTpack and Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

As the new season of The Walking Dead nears, I am compelled more and more to ponder the best get-away vehicle for the pending zombie apocalypse.  Laugh, if you will, but I'm pretty certain it's coming, and I plan to be prepared.  It should come as no surprise to regular readers of SRAB that Bob and I will make our escape from zombies (or the greater likelihood of volcanic explosion) by bicycle.  I strongly urge readers to check out this link on to Commute by Bike and read about a product that I plan to use to ensure our survival.

Karen, you look very fierce in that first photo, I don't think any zombies will mess with you! I like the new blog banner, and your red maryjanes look stylish and perfect for cycling!

Thanks, Inspired. I'll be traveling with a zombie saber in my BackTpack for sure so I plan to make short shrift of any zombies that mess with me. Glad you like the banner. I've got a little work to do on it but all in all I'm happy with how it's looking.

Everyone knows the real weapon against zombies is Febreze. You can hang spritz bottles at the ready from all sides!

Acutally Reesh, I didn't know this but thanks for the tip. I feel a little more prepared.

SuperK: Although I do not represent anything close to the Arizona contingency of the gun nut crowd and will not be buying a ticket for the GOP gun raffle, I definitely will have bullets in my BackTpack. I think regular bullets will be fine. Silver is just for werewolves and I think we call all agree those are just totally made up.

Thx, SS. The bag is strange but should come in handy. Too bad Shane didn't have one in this last episode.
