A Basket Put to Good Use

I bought a new bike basket recently and wondered, do I really need this?  And then my question was put to the test.  Bob woke up sick and miserable Monday morning and needed much cheering up.

A short trip to the grocery store proved it was $50 well spent.

I rest my case.

True. And I'm sure it can carry a cute fluffy dog for added traffic calming measures.

Man, why does that cake look so good at 8 o'clock in the morning? haha baskets ftw!

Well, Mandi, this cake is good at 8 a.m. and at 6 a.m., at which time my husband and I each enjoyed a generous slice for breakfast with a frosty, cold glass of milk. It's a zucchini chocolate cake, BTW, prepared with whole wheat flour and applesauce instead of oil, so a completely healthy breakfast alternative!

Basket is cute. I can't live without a basket/s.

Your basket is beautiful, looks hand crafted! The cake looks delicious!

Inspired the basket comes from Ghana and it is handcrafted. Info about it is in a post from a few weeks ago about Robin and Marja (in the title).

Sometimes we think that such things won't be useful to us, but at the same time such basket fitted to the bicycle proves helpful.
